Project Description:
As part of a project to migrate existing SAP HANA 2 environments to SAP HANA Cloud, analysis, assessment, and consulting services are provided to plan, manage, and optimize migration-related activities. The objective is to support migration initiatives in a structured manner, taking into account technical, organizational, and architectural requirements, and to provide a basis for decision-making and recommendations on project-relevant issues.

Scope of Task:
- Analysis and structuring of migration-related project information in connection with the transition of
system landscapes from SAP HANA 2 to SAP HANA Cloud
- Creation and maintenance of project overviews covering activities, schedules, dependencies, and
defined milestones within migration projects
- Consulting on migration-related topics, considering technical and organizational framework conditions
- Preparation of overviews of interfaces, dependencies, and project-relevant communication channels
between involved units and systems
- Documentation of project progress and preparation of project-related information in a structured
format
- Analysis of system status and performance data following completed migrations based on available
monitoring and performance metrics
- Evaluation of system and operational data to identify potential optimization requirements within the
migration context
- Analysis and assessment of measures for system landscape cleanup and consolidation in connection
with complex migration scenarios
- Analysis of technical architectures and existing solution approaches to identify risks, dependencies, and
optimization opportunities
- Conducting plausibility assessments regarding the technical and organizational framework conditions of
migration projects
- Assessment of existing planning and implementation processes within the project environment
- Development of proposals for optimizing project workflows and migration-related methodologies
- Preparation of decision-making materials and recommendations based on the results of analyses
conducted
- Creation of project-specific documentation covering architecture, infrastructure, and migration-related
aspects
- Conducting research and evaluations of cloud infrastructure approaches in the context of AWS,
Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Analysis of DevOps-related framework conditions and their potential application within the project
context
