01/2017 - Facebook had shut down the Parse, after that Community launched the Parse Server as open-source, and this was a big opportunity for small companies to use one of the strongest backend service for free Consequently, I was given the opportunity to participate as Migration Engineer at one of these small companies to implement Parse as backend on AWS platform My responsibility was to create VPC the role of which was to configure and secure Web Services. Creating Security Groups and allowing only port 443, installing Apache Server and configuring to point to Parse Server Creating Cloud Front to reduce latency for customers around the world were some of my duties. Parse Server has a built in MongoDB but is not sustainable, so I had to create a separate MongoDB in AWS which point to Parse Server and that is by configuring node Migration Engineer

Profieciencies Python Shell Scripting Swift (xcode) UNIX Ansible C C# MySQL Remotely - Audit and preparation of report documents for commercial ports (Metro-E, CBH) in actual core routers for commercial ports migration (Cisco 76xx, Juniper Mx960). - Migration planning and port availability for commercial ports (Metro-E, CBH) in actual core routers (Cisco 76xx, Juniper Mx960) to new core routers (Cisco ASR 9K, Cisco CRS-1/3, Juniper Mx960) - Analyzing and assigning of port mapping from source router to destination router through Comcast PAT (Port Allocation Tool). - Comparing and analyzing router NMPR (network migration planning report) for each commercial port services (EPL, EVPL, ENS, EDIA) with actual router running configuration. - Creating SR (Remedy) tickets on ANRS (Amdocs Network Rollout Solution System) for missing information on NMPR. - Generating configuration scripts through ANRS, and create MOP's for each commercial port services (EPL, EVPL, ENS, EDIA). - Attend and plan migration nights in collaboration with Comcast Project Managers, Comcast Commercial Engineers and Comcast field engineers. - Migrating commercial ports from actual routers newly (Cisco 76xx, Juniper Mx960) into newly integrated routers (Cisco ASR 9K, Cisco CRS-1/3, Juniper Mx960) during Comcast maintenance window Comcast is one of the biggest ISP company in the USA.As a Network Migration Engineer my responsibility entailed migration of commercial and backhole ports from old Routers to ASR9K and Juniper Mx960 Migration planning has to be done for every port, which is preceded by collection of all information related to port and adding them to the NMPR and thereinafter setting up of the migration plan NMPR is a tool that serves for comparing and analyzing the router for each commercial port service.Configuration of ports to inline services to new routers such as ASR9K or Mx960 will be only if I have enough information, if not I had to use ANRS for missing information. ANRS sends notification to customer and requests for necessary information to complete the migration Network Migration Engineer

As a Network Engineer I had to configure Iups that connect RNC to UTRAN and also configure Gx interface in PGW towards PCRF.I had to analyze and create simulation in order to perform test to catch and troubleshoot packet flow on devices such as SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW, and PGW. During the project I also had to upgrade GGSN and SGSN from R12 to R14, a process that involved a lot of to trialing and testing of cases through troubleshooting prior to the upgrade to Production environment Network Engineer Core Operation

The intention was to move BT telephone network from PSTN to an IP system. As part of the team of 21CN MEAS project, we supported the lab testing for new network features and software versions planned to be deployed in BT 21CN network On daily basis we troubleshot different IP service issues that BT Network engineers faced during the FP code testing of Tellabs Access and Core nodes, and also prepared the RCA for the reported bugs. I worked closely with Tier2 and Tier3 Tellabs support engineers on reporting and solving the device bug fixes. Inmarsat is one of the pioneering companies that provides mobile satellite communication. Because of its highly confidential nature, I am not allowed to explain the HLD of the Inmarsat network, but as a Deployment Engineer my duty was to maintain servers starting from CAR to AAA servers. Most of the servers are on RHEL 6.2 and where constant maintenance is and upgrade for security are crucial Liferay is build up by big amount of JSP applications and is upgraded upon customers' request i.e. new features, resolving bugs and deploying ear files on WebLogic servers Before upgrading or resolving issues testing in a lab environment and proposal for MOP is of key importance in this process. After undertaking these steps, my task is to present the procedure and proposal to the Inmarsat Engineering team for approval/feedback. Because of my previous knowledge on ASR9K routers my responsibility has expanded to configuration of SVN and APN on ASR5K Since there are more than 220 servers I had to find a better solution to complete some tasks such as upgrading/installing and configuring firewall etc and the solution I figured for tackling this issue was by creating my own Python scripts Deployment Engineer

USA Support of AT&T Mobility with UMTS Core (IuPS/CS, IuR, Iub traffic) design and integra tion through IP/MPLS Core using Tellabs 8800. - Monitoring and helping on integration of UMTS network components (NodeB, RNC, MGW, SGSN etc). - Supporting AT&T Mobility with UMTS Core (IuPS, IuCS, IuR, IuB traffic) design and integration through IP/MPLS Core using Tellabs 8800. - Managing UMTS Packet Core and Switches Network architecture with Transport connec tivity such as T1, DS3, OC3, OC12 and OC48 using Tellabs 8860 MSN Configuring Tellabs 8860 which controls the transport from NodeB to RNC Back then AT&T was planning to disperse 3G all over the US. As a Network Engineer I had to configure Iups, Iur, Iub traffic towards RNC and SGSN. In partnership with Tellabs, AT&T agreed to use Tellabs 8605 to increase the network's bandwidth. Configuration of 8605 was done by increasing number of T1, DS3, OC3, OC12 and OC48 from RNC towards Tellabs 8800. Plan to configure and design and increase the amount of ports was done by utilizing a number of Mobile Phone users in the regions. So, AT&T sends us every week a highly detailed traffic usage based on the region and relying on this I had to configure and to implement in that particular region Glossary Term Definition Iups Is the interface between the UMTS RNC (Radio Network Controller) and the SGSN Iur Is the interface between RNC's RNC Radio Network Controller Iub Is the interface between Node-B and RNC SGSN The Serving GPRS Support Node MEAS Mobile Ethernet Access Service PGW Packet Gateway Rx Interface towards PCC (Policy Charging Controller) PPI Promoting and Pricing Innovation LDAP Lightweight Directory Access Protocol GGSN The Gateway GPRS Support Node SGSN The Serving GPRS Support Node SGW Security Gateway MME Mobility Management Entity UTRAN Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network VPC Virtual Private Cloud LTE Long Term Evolution AWS Amazon Web Services ISP Internet Service Provider NMPR Network Migration Planning Report ANRS Amdocs Network Rollout Solution System CAR Content Access Register AAA Authentication, authorization, and accounting MOP Method of Procedure JSP Java Server Pages HLD High Level Design PSTN Public Switched Telephone Network Network Engineer

Testing and interconnecting Juniper's MX960 with VXA (MFCs - Media Flow Cache) and Openwave complex Openwave had a platform called Integra which provides Web-Media Optimization in real time and also calculates PPI for each user Back then Integra had to be configured on RHEL 5.1 only As a consulting Engineer my duty was to implement Integra and also configure Media-Web Optimization base on customer needs and PPI configuration was done based on the regulations of Telecom Company Configuration of Integra was independent and Regions-specific. Besides Integra my responsibility was to configure the interface that connects the LDAP and MySQL. In Tunisia had to configure Rx interface towards Integra so PGW can send packet to internet and Integra platform will calculate and create a cache and response back in real time to customers
