Telfort Project Worked on Number Portability in Telfort Project. Number Portability is a feature in which the customer can switch from network operator to another network operator by keeping the same MSISDN. I did Team Leading on Number Portability Project. I was involved in writing Functional Specification, Technical Specification, coding in VB 5.0 and also Integration/System Testing The project involved development in Visual Basic 5.0, and using Sybase database. Duration of the Project was 4 months network operator, another network operator by

COMNET is a network management solution to support the Remote Integrated Multiplexers(RIM's) which provides data and voice customer services via a variety of transmission systems Worked on COMNET 2.6 development I was a Team Leader and lead a team of 4 people along with having responsibilities of doing Software Development. I was also involved in writing High Level Design, Low Level Design, and Test Specifications. I was also involved in Integration/System Testing. The Project involved development in C/C++, SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C in Unix on HP-UX workstations. The responsibilites also included quality assurance, progress reporting, planning and tracking The software development work involved designing processes which communicates with Remote Systems over TCP/IP using X.25 protocol and also included modifications to the existing GUI's using Microsoft VB 4.0 Duration of Project was 9 months Worked on COMNET 2.4 Development I was a Team Leader and lead a team of 2 people along with responsibilities of doing Software Development. In COMNET 2.4, The responsibilities included designing a GUI using Visual Basic V4.0, writing Functional Specification, writing the Project Plan using Microsoft Project and I was involved in writing High Level Design, Low Level Design, and Test Specifications. I was also involved in Integration/System Testing. The responsibilities also included quality assurance, progress reporting, planning and tracking. The software development work involved designing a new GUI which communicates with processes running on Unix which further communicates with the Remote Systems Duration of Project was 5 months Worked on COMNET 2.2 development I did Software Development in C/C++, SQL, Pro*C in Unix Environment on HP-UX workstations and also was involved in Integration/System Testing. I was involved in writing High Level Design, Low Level Design, Test Specifications. The software development work involved designing processes which communicates with Remote Systems over TCP/IP using X.25 protocol and also included modifications to the existing GUI's using Microsoft VB 4.0 Duration of Project was 6 months For all COMNET Releases, Oracle Database was used with Programming in Pro*C, and SQL Team Leader

Telectronics Pacing System Validation Testing I did validation testing on File transfer procedures. This procedure is to transfer the implant software from the device into the PC. I also wrote utility software using C shell scripts and tcl/tk scripts. These scripts are used to get archive entries for the review documents. When a person is making an archive entry, it gets locked so that another person can't edit at the same time Programmer is a product which is used by doctors to detect the implanted device and can make changes to the device implanted. I did verification for the software changes made to the existing programmer software. Software was written in C using Unix environment. I also did validation testing I ported a compiler called ACK which runs under Unix on to the PC using GCC compiler and Borland C++ compiler. The ACK compiler is used to complete the implant software for the device. The compiler is ported so as to run the implant software on the PC so that it can be simulated for the implanted device. I did a few modifications to the ACK compiler which was written in C Software Design Engineer

Mobile EFTPOS Project In this project I designed the communications library which required to drive the EFTPOS application. The library was designed in C. Since it is embedded software, the library was designed also for debugging purposes on the PC. The library was compiled using HI-TECH compiler for embedded purposes and Borland Compiler for debugging purposes. For PC purposes, library was to run in DOS environment Then I designed the EMULATOR for verifying the functionality of the communications library The Emulator was designed in C++ under Windows using Borland C++, I also did documentation for the communication library and many other design specs Verification & Validation TESTING This project involves Wireless pinpad and basestation. In this there is no EFTPOS application, it is just to provide the bios functions which are required to write EFTPOS application I wrote software in C++ to verify the bios functions. To check all the boundary conditions eg LCD Display, Keypad Tests, Magnetic Card Test, Smart Card, and many more. These functionalities were verified by this software. This software was to run in Windows (Borland) C++). Smart Cards This project was for marketing demonstration in which the software should read and write to the card and perform other functions before writing and reading such as check for card insert Getting ATR from the card. In this project software is embedded and written in C. I wrote functions which can read and write to card. This software is compiled using HI-TECH compiler GEMPLUS Smart Cards In this project I designed a loader to load the EFTPOS application into the smart card. I wrote the software in C compiled under DOS by which the EFTPOS application can be loaded into the card. I also modified the software residing in the EFTPOS application so as to load the EFTPOS application from the GEMPLUS smart card back to pinpad. The software is embedded compiled using HI-TECH compiler Software Engineer
