0B IS Mills Apollo Metals Atos Origin Provide both technical and functional support within the ERP Support Centre across SAP versions 3.1 through to 4.7 for Atos Origin clients. Activities included: · Resolve reported customer problems/issues within laid down time scales. · Design, document, implement and test customer specified enhancements. · Implementation of Sales & Distribution configuration changes. This involved working closely with the customer and colleagues to ensure both the timely resolution of the reported problem or enhancement and the provision of information to enhance user knowledge. BAE Systems Responsible as the lead consultant for the implementation of the Sales functionality within a SAP IS Defence & Aerospace solution provided for BAE Systems located in Prestwick. Activities included: · Use of the IMG to provide SD configuration during realisation (including: organisation, order, pricing, ATP, logistic execution, billing, inter company and export data). · Resolution of issues/conflicts, across all modules. · Assisting in the creation of test scenarios based upon identified business processes. · Knowledge transfer too relevant core team members. · Provision of documentation detailing SD configuration. This involved working closely with the customer and colleagues to ensure the development of an integrated solution. Kimberly Clark Provide technical support for the Pricing and Rebate area of Sales and Distribution and Financial Accounts Receivable. · Implementation of configuration changes. · Design, document, implement and test identified enhancements. · Undertake testing for SAP hot packs for their impact upon the Kimberly Clark bespoke solution. · Resolve reported problems/issues for users across Europe. · Use the Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) to upload data. · Utilise an internal reporting tool to monitor the progress of user reported problems. · Liaise with other support team members in the resolution of user problems. Ready Mix Concrete (Building Products) Assist with the go live of a customer specific solution across a number of RMC Building Product sites in the North of England. Role involved resolution of user problems, identifying master data errors, ensuring users where following detailed business processes and the provision of additional training as required (including: order, delivery & billing processing, pricing & inventory management). Triumph International Provide technical support for a SAP R/3 Consumer Products Apparel & Footwear Solution (AFS) rollout at Triumph International. Involving: · Implementation of configuration changes. · Testing of the current Triumph bespoke AFS Sales and Distribution configuration. · Documentation of changes and test results. · Provision of Functional Design for identified gap analysis within the Triumph solution. · Functional Design testing. · Provide Post go live support to colleagues in Australia. Arval PHH Business Analyst role dealing with functional/technical specification for legacy system interfaces both to and from a customer enhanced SAP solution. This involved the definition of requirements, identification and conversion of data, resolution of issues and documentation. The specifications also needed to be produced to meet a tight project time frame. One particular interface involved the provision of SAP sales data to the current business wide reporting system. As part of the solution I proposed to utilise some of the BW reporting tables and updating mechanisms. Synetix UK Responsible for the provision of technical support and development of, the Sales & Distribution and Material Management functionality within a current bespoke implementation at Synetix. This included: · Upgrade of the current system to SAP version 4.6c, from version 3.0F via 3.1I. Included additional configuration for enhanced Export/Import functionality to enable Intrastat reporting. · Definition of the current business processes and corresponding test scenarios for Sales & Distribution, Stock Transport, Inventory Management and Production Planning. · Definition of new user reports and investigation into problems with current reports. Involved both LIS and ABAP Query. · Provision of end user documentation and training. · Support of Intrastat reporting within the company. · Prototype the required SD/MM configuration and master data for the addition of a European subsidiary to the current implementation, involved defining the business process, creation of functional specification for interface to legacy transport system. · Additions to the order management process (for both the catalyst and Service business units), creation of new item categories and all necessary configuration. · Development of a unique solution for the US business; including definition of the business process ( order, logistic execution & billing), test scenarios and master data; definition of new pricing conditions, amendment of the pricing procedure and pricing configuration; modification to bespoke print programs and Sapscripts, upload of master data and undertaking all necessary testing and end user training. · Enhancements due to changes in the business, including modifications to the current configuration via the IMG (e.g. order types, pricing, logistic execution & billing). · Resolution of end user issues/problems with business processes & master data. · Provide assistance in the rationalisation of master data. · Provide documentation, investigating problems with and modifying SD user exits. · Knowledge transfer to SAP end users in order to ensure local understanding, and commitment to the solution. All the above, involved working closely with colleagues and end users in both the UK and the USA. NEC Europe Ltd I was responsible for the provision of technical support for the Sales & Distribution functionality within a bespoke implementation at NEC Europe Ltd. Also involved in the development of a bespoke European EDI solution, which was part of a global requirement for a particular NEC customer. The solution was delivered ahead of schedule within a tight timeframe. Activities included: · Enhancements due to changes in the business, including modifications to the current configuration via the IMG (e.g. order, pricing, availability, logistic execution & billing). · Resolution of issues/problems. · Definition of a company archiving policy for SAP transactional and master data, setting up of all necessary procedures and implementation of necessary configuration and structures. · Provide support for the generation of Intrastat reports & liaise with relevant government agencies. · Creation of ABAP reports. · Development of a number of EDI bespoke solutions for specified customers; including definition of master data, business process, and configuration, functional specifications for IDOC mapping, sub-system mapping and testing. · Assist in the preparation of an internet site for use by the servicing department and third party suppliers. This site provided information on warranty on a number of products (e.g. mobile phones, monitors). · Assist in the review & testing of proposed ABAP enhancements. · Investigating the feasibility of using the Project Systems module to assist with a unique solution for new business units. · Liaising with other process teams to ensure the development of an integrated solution for these new business units. · Knowledge transfer to SAP end-users in order to ensure local understanding, and commitment to the solution. · Provision of documentation and assist in end user training. All the above, involved working closely with colleagues and end users across Europe. Coats Viyella Clothing Solely responsible for the implementation of the Sales & Distribution functionality within a SAP R/3 Consumer Products Apparel & Footwear Solution (AFS), provided for Coats Viyella Clothing, located in Genk, Belgium. Also managed a customer specific EDI solution. Activities included: · Use of the IMG to provide both standard and AFS SD configuration during realisation, final preparation and go-live of implementation (including order, pricing, ATP, logistic execution, billing Intrastat, reporting & BOMs · Implementation of unique business processes · Managing a customer specific bespoke EDI solution. Involved the creation of new Idocs and the functional specification for the corresponding ABAP code to handle them, configuration, liaise with customer EDI team, documentation and testing · Provision of test scenarios, all modules, based upon identified business processes · Utilising the ABAP workbench to implement code changes (all modules) proposed by SAP · Assisting in the creation of master data, all modules, in particular material master, BOMs, AFS product grids and units of measure · Use of Sapscript to provide customer unique outputs · Assisting in MM & PP configuration and resolution of integration problems · Knowledge transfer too core team members · Provision of documentation detailing SD configuration · Responsible for post go-live support of SD functionality This involved working closely with the customer, colleagues and the SAP AFS development team in Germany Apollo Metals I was solely responsible for the implementation as per the Business Blueprint of the Sales & Distribution functionality within a SAP IS Mills solution provided for Apollo Metals located in Birmingham. The solution provided made use of variant configuration, the raw materials and finished goods were described via a unique set of characteristics. Activities included · Use of the IMG to provide SD configuration during realisation (including: organisation, order, pricing, ATP, logistic execution, billing, Intrastat &) BOMs). · Enhancements due to changes in business · Resolution of issues/conflicts, across all modules; particularly with the regard to the usage of material characteristics during sales order processing · Assisting in MM, particularly Warehouse Management, configuration and resolution of problems · Assisting in the definition of the characteristics for the variant configuration of materials · Assisting in the creation of test scenarios based upon identified business processes · Knowledge transfer too relevant core team members · Provision of documentation detailing SD configuration This involved working closely with the customer and colleagues to ensure the development of an integrated solution
