In this capacity he met with client representatives across the country documenting their requirements and completing a blue print design document As the blue print was signed off by the client, Mr. Deutsch was asked to remain active on the project while his role evolved to include the preparation of business process scripts, system configuration, unit and integration testing, interface design and testing, end user training, go live procedures and post go-live support which has continued over two years past his departure from DND with calls for advice The scope of the implementation included PS objects such as WBSE structures Network activities, scheduling parameters including the Project Planning Board, material acquisition processes and others in addition the Investment Management module of SAP was used to determine Investment Programs, Investment Measures and for capital type projects and investments, integration with SAP PM, MM, QM and HR including CATS |

The study included tile following stages: o Mapping the functions of the department via interviews and group sessions with key personnel; o Analyzing the current activities as well as other requirements of clients of the department; o Research of best practices in leading organizations in North America; o Comparison of our findings, conclusions and recommendations to the results of the best practices search Based on the study conducted by the Ernst & Young team, the client was able to improve efficiency, productivity and delivery of required services to management and other users o Conducted a Business Process Modeling project for a newly designed division of Revenue Canada.
